Program Benefits

Mentorship programs benefit both mentees and mentors. Facilitated programs are most effective when relationships are formed based on mutual interests. So, we are providing mentees the opportunity to connect with mentors based on their experiences and interests, and we will match each mentee with a mentor based on the selections. We are also providing a mentorship toolkit, which can help mentees and mentors guide their experience. How you use this is up to you and your mentorship partner.

 

Program Details

Session dates: October 11th – December 16th

Session Length: 10 weeks

PDUs: 8

Cost: Pilot is free of charge

 

Commitment:

• Mandatory kickoff, check-in, and wrap-up

• Minimum 2 mentorship sessions

 

Mandatory Kickoff Session:

• Meet and greet for all program participants

• Program overview and expectations

• Matchings will be provided prior to the kickoff

 

Mandatory Check-In:

• Feedback on the program so far

• Guest speaker Mandatory

 

Wrap-up Session:

• Participants share their experience including:             

       o Lessons learned             

       o Program feedback

• PDUs awarded

 

Mentor/Mentee Meetings:

• The schedule and agenda for the meetings will be determined by each pair/group.

• To earn PDUs, you must attend at least 2 meetings during the session.
