Volunteer Opportunity - Associate Director of Programs

PMI®NL has an immediate opening for an Associate Director to assist the PMI-NL® Board! 

 

An Associate Director of Programs is required for the remainder of 2021.  This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Programs and Professional Development (PPD) to deliver a well-established schedule of events to members and non-members of PMI-NL.  As well, the Associate Director will assist in the development and administration of publications, seminars, or workshops for the PMI®NL chapter members.

Key Points

  • This is a mid-year position which will expire Dec 31, 2021
  • You can expect to spend approximately 5-7 hours per month on Board activities
  • You must be a member of PMI®NL in good standing for the duration of your term.   

Responsibilities

  • Organize social events for the membership
  • Support & Facilitate ideation and networking events
  • Coordinate & Manage professional development programs
  • Develop professional development content 
  • Other ad-hoc duties related to programs & professional development

Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning for business events
  • Experience working in a collaborative / team environment
  • Experience managing business relationships

 

Must-Have Skill Set Needed

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience dealing with vendors
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Process execution
