February Lunch and Learn
Rational Project Management in a World of Irrational People: Using the Science of Change Management to Improve Project Success
PMI NL Chapter is happy to kick off 2016 with our first Lunch & Learn event, scheduled for Wednesday, February 10th at the Johnson GEO Centre.
Susan Martyn, lead of Public Sector business for ZedIT Solutions Inc. will be leading a session on change management.
Susan has worked in the IT industry for 18 years and is a seasoned Senior Project Manager. She worked with large-scale, private sector enterprises in the US and Western Canada before moving back home in 2003, then working on many of the province's public sector initiatives.
During her IT career, Susan developed a specialization in Organizational Change Management when it arose as a discipline required for health care projects 10 years ago. She worked as a leader in change management on some of this province's health care projects and now applies the approach to other complex public sector initiatives.
Susan hopes to build capacity in the Change Management discipline locally, as the science of organizational change has such a profound impact on the success of projects.
The event gets underway at 12:00pm and is $30 for PMI NL Chapter members or $35 for non-members. Registration for the event is now available on our website.
