It's been a busy fall for everyone here at PMI NL as we have just capped off the season with two major events. On November 03rd we hosted our annual PM Symposium in partnership with Gardiner Centre. The event was a great success and is a credit to those who volunteer to organize the event every year. We are currently reviewing your feedback and we are looking to improve the event next year. If you have any thoughts or recommendations, please feel free to send them to us.
Our second major event that wrapped up this fall was our PMP study group. The classes were full of seasoned project managers looking to earn their PMP certification. Based on the classes that I attended, it won't be long before we have the opportunity to congratulate each of them on their success. For anyone interested, we will be hosting our winter PMP study group in early 2017, and planning is nearly complete. Please stay tuned for more details on this in coming weeks.
And now, as we prepare for the upcoming 2017 events and expect that life can't get any busier, surprise, Christmas and the holidays are just around the corner. Let the holiday planning begin.

To get started, interested persons are requuired to log-on or register at www.vrms.pm.org Once logged on, you can select " Find an Opportunity" link and search for chapter, community or global volunteer opportunities. Your specific search results will provide you with the details that outline the requirements and skills needed to qualify for each opportunity.
Currently, PMI NL has one opportunity posted on VRMS. You can search for the position under Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter, or by entering application ID 8448.
