Preparation course - PMP Bootcamp English (H02-2023)

Description

The course is offered as a live broadcast and in-person class. The videos will be saved as the course progresses. These recordings are available for the price of 150$ and can then be accessible for up to 3 months following the last course (videos expire on April 20th 2023). 

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: January 13th, 2023 at 12pm. After this date, you must reach us by phone to register.

LIVE BROADCAST TIMES : 8:30AM to 4:30PM 

FORMAT : Online and in person

LOCATION : The web connection information will be provided by e-mail within 1 days before your course. The course will be broadcast with Zoom plateforme.

Approximately a week before the course, a 2 hours video of the course introduction and the first section on ethics will be uploaded in your PMI-Montreal account under ''my webconference'' section. It is mandatory that all participants view this presentation before the first course. Please address all questions to info@pmimontreal.org

IMPORTANT : PRELIMINARY STEPS

The week before the beginning of the class, you will receive three emails which are essential to your preparation. Please read them carefully.

If you are completing the course remotely, you will have to complete five steps:

  1. Get the PMBoK guide (This book is not mandatory during the course).
  2. Listen to the introductory course lasting about 2h
  3. Create your account with the digital key for the PMI Choice platform
  4. Save the 10-question quiz in your files in order to have it nearby when it is completed in class
  5. Note the Zoom link of the course

If you are completing the in-class course, you will have to complete three steps:

Inclusions

  • Training PMP manual
    A training manual containing all the sections covered and practice exams is included. *In person: You can request to get the paper version of the notebook mailed to you before your first class for a $ 35 charge to cover shipping costs. You will also receive a key by email in order to obtain the digital version of the material. No hardcopy are available at our offices. *Online: You can ask to have the paper material version send to your house. Just select this option when you subscribe to the course. You will be charged a delivery fees. You will also receive by e-mail the key to claim a PDF version prior to the course.
  • Manual language
    All training material provided is available in English or in French depending of the language of the course.
  • PMP Simulation questions
    Over 200 exclusives simulations questions are included in our material.

Exclusions

  • Membership PMI & PMI-Montreal
    Membership to PMI and PMI-Montreal, $129 USD and $35 USD respectively, is not included. You must become a member of both PMI & PMI-Montreal before registering to the preparation course in order to have the rebate apply. Simply go to www.pmi.org and go under ''membership'' and then ''become a member''. Make sure you also select PMI-Montreal before finalizing your transaction.
  • PMBoK
    The PMBoK is not included in the price for the course but this document is essential for the preparation course and the exam. You do not need to bring it to the course. The downloaded version is free for the member and can be accessed on PMI.org under Library of Global Standards.
  • PMP exam fees
    For those who are taking the PMP exam. Please take note the exam cost is not included in the price of the preparation course. This is an individual process, and all applicants must go through the PMI application process. Once accepted you must pay the fees: $405 USD for members, $555 USD for non-members in order to have access to the exam schedule. You will have a full year and 3 attempts to succeed. If you need a second or a third attempt you must pay extra fees : $275US for members, $375US for non-members.
  • Video recordings of the course
    The recordings of the course can be available for participants in-person or by webcast for the price of 150$.

Refund Policy

Distance learning courses in Quebec: no refunds or cancellations within 10 working days before the first session to allow for shipping of materials. 

Distance learning courses outside Quebec: no refunds or cancellations within 15 working days before the first session to allow for shipping of materials.

In-person training

Refundable in full five working days or more prior to the first session. Requests must be sent to rec@pmimontreal.org.

No refunds four business days or less before the first session.

Substitution
Substitution of a participant is not permitted except for group registrations.

Cancellation
PMI-Montréal reserves the right to cancel any training should enrolment be insufficient. In this case, the entire registration fee will be refunded.
