Preparation course - PMP Friday French (A07-2024)

FORMAT : Online or in person. Make your choice in the registration menu on the right. 

The course is offered as a live broadcast. 

 

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: Thursday October 31st , 2024 at noon. After this date, you must contact us by phone to register.

COURSE DATES : November 1st, 8, 15, 22 & 29 2024

LIVE BROADCAST TIMES : 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (EST)

LOCATION : The web connection information will be provided by email within 1 days before your course. The course will be broadcast with Zoom platform.

 

Approximately a week before the course, a 2-hour video of the course introduction and the first section on ethics will be uploaded in your PMI-Montreal account under ''my webconferences'' section. It is mandatory that all participants view this presentation before the first course. Please address all questions to info@pmimontreal.org

IMPORTANT : PRELIMINARY STEPS

The week before the beginning of the class, you will receive three emails which are essential to your preparation. Please read them carefully.

  • If you are completing the course remotely, you will have to complete five steps:
  1. Get the PMBoK guide (This book is not mandatory during the course).
  2. Listen to the introductory course lasting about 2h
  3. Create your PMI.org account with the digital key 
  4. Save the 10-question quiz in your files in order to have it nearby when it is completed in class.
  5. Note the Zoom link of the course in your document section of your PMI-Montraeal account
  • If you are completing the in-class course, you will have to complete three steps:
  1. Get the PMBoK guide (This book is not mandatory during the course).

  3. Note the digital key for the PMI.org course material

Inclusions

  • Training PMP manual
    A training manual containing all the sections covered and practice exams is included.
  • PMP simulations questions
    Over 200 exclusives simulations questions are included in our material.
  • Manual language
    All training material provided is available in English or in French depending of the language of the course.

Exclusions

  • Membership PMI & PMI-Montreal
    Membership to PMI and PMI-Montreal, $129 USD and $35 USD respectively, is not included. You must become a member of both PMI & PMI-Montreal before registering to the preparation course in order to have the rebate apply. To become a member go to www.pmi.org and go under ''membership'' and then ''become a member''. Make sure you also select PMI-Montreal before finalizing your transaction.
  • PMP exam fees
    For those who are taking the PMP exam. Please take note the exam cost is not included in the price of the preparation course. This is an individual process and all applicants must go through the PMI application process. Once accepted you must pay the fees: $405 USD for members, $575 USD for non-members in order to have access to the exam schedule. The price of the PMP exam will be $655 USD for non-members starting on August 6th, 2024. You will have a full year and 3 attempts to succeed. If you need a second or a third attempt you must pay extra fees : $275US for members, $375US for non-members.
  • PMBoK
    The PMBoK is not included in the price for the course but this document is essential for the preparation course and the exam. You do not need to bring it to the course. The downloaded version is free for the member and can be accessed on PMI.org under Library of Global Standards.
  • Course Recording
    This is an exceptional measure insofar as you should be absent from a course for whatever reason you can benefit from it. Whether you attend the course in person or virtually, for a period of 3 months* following your last course you will have access to the recordings. These will be deposited directly into your PMI-Montréal account ('my webconferences' section) within 24 to 48 hours of the live broadcast, whenever possible. You must have taken the PMP preparation course to qualify.

Refund Policy

Online courses in Quebec : no refunds or cancellations 7 working days or less before the first course to allow materials to be sent.

Distance courses outside Quebec : no refunds or cancellations 15 working days before the first course to allow materials to be shipped.

In-person course :

No refunds 7 working days or less before the course.

Substitution
Substitution of a participant is not permitted except for group registrations.

Cancellation
PMI-Montreal reserves the right to cancel a training program in the event of insufficient registrations. In this case, the full registration fee will be refunded.
